Welcome to my blog, Me Tea and Lucy. My name is Jennie Hornyak Wojciechowski, and this site documents my culinary and entertaining endeavors, my academic pursuits, my life with two small children, and whatever else I may feel like writing about.
I am a fulltime doctorate student at Luther Seminary studying Church History, with a concentration on the intersection of religion and women’s rights in the late nineteenth century and early twentieth century. I am an Instructor at Augsburg College in the Religion Department, and I am also the editorial fellow on the Luther faculty journal called Word and World.
I live in the northeast corner of Northeast Minneapolis with my husband Alec and my children Lucy (6) and Emory (2) In my free time (of which I have very little) I enjoy reading, writing, cooking and baking, coffee, tea, traveling, knitting, trying new restaurants, shoes, and spending time with friends and family.
I think your blog is great, it is such a great change to read what someone writes with no crap added, if you think a recipe is terrible you dont mind saying it. so refreshing. I love old recipes and failure is all part of it. good luck with your blog, Mick from Australia
